1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Bonsai MCP Connector provided by Bonsai Srls. The connector enables authorized Bonsai users to access supported Bonsai capabilities through compatible AI clients, including ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude.
These Terms [supplement / form part of / are incorporated into] the agreement governing the customer's use of Bonsai. If there is a conflict, [INSERT APPROVED ORDER OF PRECEDENCE].LEGAL REVIEW · relationship with main agreement
2. Eligibility and authority
The connector is intended for authorized business users. By connecting or using it on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization and to access the selected Bonsai account, organization, and tenant. You must meet any age, legal-capacity, territorial, and account requirements stated in the applicable Bonsai agreement and in the terms of the AI provider you use.LEGAL REVIEW · age & territory
3. Prerequisites
- an active and authorized Bonsai account;
- access to the relevant Bonsai company or agency organization;
- the Bonsai modules and permissions required by the requested tool;
- a supported account with ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, or another compatible client;
- a network and browser environment capable of completing OAuth authorization.
Availability of a connector in an AI provider's directory does not automatically grant access to Bonsai data or modules.
4. Connector functionality
The connector allows a compatible AI client to invoke defined Bonsai tools after successful OAuth authorization. Company users connect to one authorized Bonsai environment. Agency users can access only tenants assigned to their organization and may select an active tenant within that authorized list.
Analytics tools retrieve information from the user's authorized Bonsai environment and are read-only. The switch_tenant tool changes the active tenant context for subsequent requests in the current Agency session; it does not edit business data in that tenant.
5. Authorization and account security
The connector uses OAuth authorization. You are responsible for using an account assigned to you, keeping your credentials secure, reviewing the authenticated email and tenant context, and disconnecting access you no longer need.
You must not share passwords, OAuth codes, access tokens, refresh tokens, API keys, one-time passwords, or session cookies with another person or include them in prompts, support requests, or tool arguments.
6. Permitted and prohibited use
You must use the connector only:
- for lawful business purposes;
- within the Bonsai accounts, organizations, tenants, modules, and data you are authorized to access;
- in accordance with these Terms, the applicable Bonsai agreement, and the terms of the selected AI provider;
- after reviewing outputs before using them for business decisions.
You must not:
- attempt to access another customer, organization, tenant, account, module, or dataset without authorization;
- circumvent OAuth, permissions, module controls, tenant allowlists, rate limits, confirmations, or security safeguards;
- submit passwords, authentication secrets, payment-card data, health information, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through prompts or tool arguments;
- use the connector to violate applicable law, third-party rights, confidentiality duties, or contractual restrictions;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the connector or related Bonsai services except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
- misrepresent tool results as verified professional, legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice;
- resell, sublicense, or expose connector access to unauthorized third parties unless expressly allowed by the customer's Bonsai agreement.

7. AI-generated responses and user responsibility
The connector returns authorized Bonsai data to the selected AI provider. The AI provider may transform, summarize, interpret, or combine tool results when generating a response. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or presented without relevant context. You are responsible for checking important information against Bonsai and the underlying business records before acting on it. The connector is an analytical aid and is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, financial, accounting, compliance, or other specialist advice.
8. Third-party AI services
ChatGPT and Codex are services provided by OpenAI. Claude is a service provided by Anthropic. Those services are separate from Bonsai and are governed by the terms, privacy policies, workspace controls, and data settings selected by the customer or user. Publication or availability in an AI provider's directory does not mean that OpenAI or Anthropic endorses, guarantees, or assumes responsibility for Bonsai or the connector.

9. Privacy and customer data
Bonsai processes personal and business information as described in the Bonsai MCP Connector Privacy Policy and any applicable customer agreement or data-processing agreement.
10. Intellectual property
Bonsai and its licensors retain all rights in the connector, its software, interfaces, documentation, trademarks, and related materials. No ownership rights are transferred except for the limited rights expressly granted under the applicable Bonsai agreement.LEGAL REVIEW · IP licensing
11. Fees and commercial terms
Access to connector capabilities may depend on the customer's Bonsai subscription, enabled modules, and applicable commercial agreement. The connector does not independently sell subscriptions or digital services through ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude. Fees, billing, renewal, taxes, and payment terms are governed by the applicable Bonsai commercial agreement.LEGAL REVIEW · fees
12. Availability, maintenance, and changes
Bonsai may maintain, update, suspend, limit, or discontinue connector functionality where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, product changes, provider compatibility, or protection of customers and services. Features may change as Bonsai, OpenAI, Anthropic, MCP specifications, and supported clients evolve.
Unless expressly stated in an applicable written agreement, no specific service level or uninterrupted availability is promised by this public page. LEGAL REVIEW · SLA
13. Suspension and termination
